I’ve owed this post for awhile now, haven’t I?! Well, there is good news and bad news…and being a sucker for a happy ending, I’m starting with the bad news: At least half of our pictures from Hawaii were stolen from our car with our camera. They happened to be the pictures with my “nice” camera – somehow I switched the memory cards when I downloaded half of the pictures – so we did manage to salvage the videos and some of the pictures with family. However, we’re missing ALL pictures with Gramma, Grampa, and Auntie Nicci. Which I have cried over more than once. That, and the fact that I did get ALL of the pictures and video STOLEN of Selah picking out her Christmas tree, decorating it, and running all over the Christmas tree farm with her Dad. Boo on stealing.
Now, moving on before I shed more tears over something I will never get back…
We do have some! And yay I’m posting finally about our trip! Maybe it is because I have just now recovered from it?!? ๐ It was loads of fun…and we miss being around Jesse’s family dearly, most especially when we are there because it’s so vivid how much fun Selah has with her cousins, Auntie Nicci and Uncle Teva, and of course, last but oh-most-certainly not least – Gramma and Grampa Wheeler! We had lots of fun playing in the sand, the water, and around the ranch with the “forsey’s” as Selah referred to the horses all around. I’m also blaming the trip for her spontaneous response to the “What do you want Santa to bring you” question with: “Horsey. And cookies.” I can tell you that girl has a blossoming personality bigger than her squeezably wonderful thighs.
Anyways, on with the pictures, which is why you come here anyway I’m sure! ๐ We love and miss the Wheeler family very much and had such a wonderful Thanksgiving! (And I, of course, now owe a Christmas post for everyone…which should come out by Valentine’s Day!)
