OK, I was going to write a whole post on HI family visiting. And I will! I promise! But it was getting late, so I was going to wait to post until tomorrow. However, I ran across a series of pictures. This is just a small sampling of them, but seriously. I. Had. To. Post.
I mean, really? Do these boys look alike or what?
I could barely even choose which one to post! Here’s more:
Those ones were the most alike, but these ones struck me too! Right down to the expressions! What personality these Wheeler boys have, right? Three generations of handsome ;):
Oh, and Gramma Homee, I couldn’t leave you out! I promise, there are some GREAT pics of you with your grandbabies! This might not be the best one of all of them (I promise again, I will continue to post), but it made me laugh! The expression was too funny and too similar between both of you, so I had to do it:
More to come. There are some great ones of the wedding too.
(When I preview this post, I can only see the pictures small, but they are enlarge-worthy, so please click if you want to save any full-size, family!)
Finally I’m downloading the pics. For some reason I’m having the feeling I’ve posted these already. Oh well, if I have, so be it. Here’s more pics of my kids. Standard, right?
So, Crash’s first food was avocado. Locally grown, organic. Nice to be raised in California, Asher! I have entirely too many pics of the day, but I had to post them in order, so that you can get the full picture of the experience.
To set the scene: we wanted to involve Gramma Home and Grampee since they’re so far away and don’t get to have these “first” experiences all that often with us, so we Skyped the event. Here is the rundown of how it all went:
So, this whole “two kid” thing is just going by too quickly! I cannot believe it has been two months since this day. What a good one it was. And how incredibly thankful I am for my sweet family, the ones right here with me every day, and also the ones so far away. Love you all.
But, hey – I just am finally downloading pictures, prompted by the family visit, and so now I have August lake, September fun, you get the picture. So, here’s just a few August pics that I enjoyed looking at. I can’t believe it’s been two months since our last lake visit. I also cannot believe I really did not take very many pictures of the fun (guess most of the time was spent enjoying it, rather than behind a camera!). But here are a few to document for the future:
This is how we feel about the massive ear infection poor Asher has:
Poor kid (& mom & dad) has only had about two hours of sleep in the last 24.
I hope to post some better updates about the great week we had with family last week, but we’ll get ourselves through this first. Prayers for healing (& sleep!) greatly appreciated.
