Both Hannah AND Selah had a first snorkeling adventure in Hawaii! Hannah’s was more dramatic – beginning with cave diving and ending with a cut on the head, but Selah’s went less eventfully (thankfully…although, sorry Hannah! Your willingness to try anything is totally inspiring though!).
Here’s the spot where Selah got to look at fishies for her first time:
Trying things out when Taoa and I got back from cave diving. She loved going further out with her cousin. But didn’t love the mask/snorkel combo, so stuck with the goggles instead:
Meanwhile, Crasher explored the tide pools and threw rocks – perfect for him! In fact, it probably was his favorite water experience in Hawaii:
And of course a little nap with Hannah is always nice…
Until you wake up and see Mom is in the water, clearly an unsafe distance away from you:
Just in case you were tired of pics of my kiddos, thought I’d throw one of Hannah & Taoa in for good measure:
Or two (to display their great sense of humor & extreme photogenic-ness. Yep. Not a word.):
I mean, Taoa can even make a car-trunk diaper change fun! Here’s proof:
And last, but never in a million years least, what snorkeling trip would be complete without shave ice?! Not one with Selah & I, that’s for sure 😋. So, shave ice it was. Funny thing is eating took precedence over pictures for once, so we only have the before & after to prove it:
And one very tired baby (& extremely helpful cousin) about to nap:
