Ready for another Hawaii recap day? Ready or not, here it comes…
Our favorite little spot for the kids last time (read: no waves. Rare on the north shore of Oahu, known more for wave-seekers than wave-avoiders), was a big hit this time too. What a sweet spot. Selah bravely ventured onto the stand-up paddle board with Taoa, and Hannah and I…well…I guess I’ll say we made a valiant effort to join them. Key in that is “effort”, although you might not exactly know the full extent of the struggle from the picture documentation. Thank goodness for both if us on that – I literally am laughing remembering it as I write. It was comical. Grace, ease, coordination – yeah, all things we were significantly short of. 😉👌😜
So, some pics of the beautiful day.
Selah & her buddy:
We tried to get her to “play mad”:
A few of Hannah and I in all our glory (& Pito who graciously took pictures and didn’t pretend to not know us even in our most embarrassing of moments):
Crashy latched on the Auntie Nicci – he was pretty timid as far as the water went this day:
More of sweet Asher testing things out:
Selah’s other bud this day and through the whole trip was Pito. He was so sweet and gentle with her, it was awesome. Here’s a few of them playing:
And these ones about make me tear up, I love them so much. Asher isn’t a big snuggler, but he does let me sneak a few in here and there. And it makes them all the sweeter:
And to followup the sweetness, you’ve just gotta end on the tantrum that concludes the great day, right! 😜
Nothing like a good hat throw to let everyone know how tired you are!
😝😖😩😣😴👌
