Sunday Funday

Jesse and I had the best Saturday – a belated birthday lunch “date” while my parents blessed us by taking the kids all afternoon. Then an easy hot dog & macaroni & cheese dinner with strawberry shortcake with Grandma & Grandpa. That was my perfect birthday celebration. Oh, and no pictures! So I can’t overwhelm you with documentation!

However, Sunday we went out to breakfast at Jesse’s jobsite because he had to open it, and I caught some of the kids to share. What a beautiful/handsome pair (clearly I’m not without bias, but forgive me 😉😘):

We even stopped to smell the flowers (before the kids realized bougainvilleas have no smell and are very prickly!):

Then on to Daddy’s job to “help” him wet the pool deck down. This basically goes to show kids can have a blast anywhere. They loved throwing chunks of concrete into the demo’ed pool and spraying the hose. Cheap fun, and making memories too:

Fun family Sunday just enjoying life together and feeling blessed to be healthy (which is sadly why we skip church these days – just can’t seem to have the kids go without having a horrendous aftermath of sickness, so spending some time off trying to gain our health back together)!
