After church last week:
Mom: what’d you do in church this week?
Selah: jumped on trampolines with backpacks full of blocks.
Me: wow. What were you learning?
Selah: Jesus doesn’t want us to carry too much heavy stuff. You just have to breathe sometimes.
Me: impressive. So, what kind of heavy stuff does Jesus not want us to carry?
Selah: well, the blocks.
Me: so what kind of things might be heavy like the blocks?
Selah: like, carrying a horse on your pinky?
(Of course. To be fair, a horse on your pinky would most certainly be the heaviest thing I can think of too!)
